What do we tutor?

We offer comprehensive tuition across all core subjects, including Maths, English, and Science. Additionally, we provide specialised support in wider curriculum subjects such as Geography, History, and French.

Our services cater to students at every level:

Exam preparation: Expert guidance for Phonics, SATs, GCSEs, and A-Levels.

We also specialize in preparing students for entrance exams, including the 7+ and 11+ exams, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel.

How does it work?

Before your child’s first lesson, we will arrange an initial telephone consultation to discuss their needs in detail. This conversation helps us gain a well-rounded understanding of your child and their current levels of attainment.

During the first session, we will take the time to get to know your child and conduct baseline assessments to identify their strengths and areas for development. After the session, we will share the assessment results with you and outline their next steps.

Based on this, we will create a personalised tutoring plan tailored to your child’s needs, which will guide future lessons and support their progress effectively.

What happens in lessons?

Our lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging, incorporating your child’s interests wherever possible to make learning enjoyable. Each session provides opportunities to revisit previously learned material, ensuring knowledge and skills are firmly embedded.

We also introduce new knowledge, skills, and concepts to promote steady and meaningful progress in your child’s learning journey. Our tutors use a variety of teaching approaches, along with physical resources and equipment, to support and enhance understanding.

All resources are provided for face-to-face lessons, ensuring a seamless and well-prepared learning experience.
