Art Therapy

Psychodynamic Art Therapy

We are able to provide Art Therapy as part of our support at Spark Academy. We are proud to have Lauren as part of our team at Spark Academy. She is HCPC-registered and a BAAT-accredited Art Psychotherapist. Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that harnesses the therapeutic benefits of creativity and art-making to express thoughts and emotions. Many find this approach less confrontational than traditional talking therapies, making it a unique and engaging alternative. It is particularly beneficial for children who struggle to verbalize their feelings, and those with communication difficulties. Art Therapy offers a private and confidential space where your child can safely share their emotions with a qualified therapist.
